Combined with the weight of the cabinet and the appliances, these forces can work a plasterboard-only fixing loose over time. For a safe installation we therefore advise always fixing the cabinet to a solid structure behind the wall.

In that case, add the gap between the cabinet and the wall to the total depth of the worktop.Measure the length carefullyMeasure the distance between the walls in several places. Walls are rarely completely straight. Allow a small tolerance of about 2 to 5 mm in the final length, so the worktop is easy to fit and does not jam.
